Svalbard Adventure
Well inside the Arctic Circle at 78 degrees north this trek explores the glaciers, shoreline and mountains of Spitsbergen in 24 hour daylight. Backpacking during our four-day adventure high onto the Mittag Lefferbreen glacier combines with coastal and mountain day walks in one of Europe's last wilderness areas.
From our base camp at the head of a remote fjord a series of day walks and a longer expedition reveal the incredible arctic landscape.
On the four day Mittag Lefferbreen Experience we camp on a nunatak in the middle of a 7 km wide glacier. From here we foray northeast into a landscape where canyon - like valleys of ice cut through Svalbard's highest mountains.
