Trekking in Norway
We have run our popular Spitsbergen trip for over 10 years now. Spitsbergen is the largest island in the Svalbard archipelago, with most visitors staying within the settlements or cruising the west coast. This trekking itinerary, exclusive to High Places, operates from a remote base camp in the heart of Spitsbergen from which we embark on day walks and a 4 day backpacking expedition across a series of glaciers.
Lofoten is a new destination for 2010 and we are thrilled to be expanding our horizons. We have excellent local contacts here and our trip runs from a comfortable base offering a great range of day walks.
